About the Role:

The Sales Manager is a vital part of the sales team and will be accountable for assigned facility location activities while ensuring the Semper Laser values and standards are consistently applied in all client interactions. He/She will be responsible for client satisfaction, reaching new client quotas, and increasing monthly sales. It’s his/her job to develop the team, resolve issues, and implement changes that can strengthen the company’s relationship with its clients. With a keen eye toward brand integrity and a consistent voice, the incumbent must create a positive work environment and foster an atmosphere of confidence where every team member is able to chase their dreams and reach company goals. The ideal candidate must have a solid base of big-ticket retail sales and management experience and will possess a high level of previously demonstrated ability in Sales, Training, Operations, and Sales Management. The incumbent must be a detailed, organized self-starter with the ability to move at a very fast pace and have a high ability to prioritize based on a rapidly changing and growing laser industry environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Control and supervise the daily operation of the facility and be able to make decisions
  • Foster a guest-focused team environment as a leader, driving volume, and client loyalty.
  • Clearly communicate daily and monthly goals, contests, and performance expectations to all team members.
  • Develop sales strategies to increase monthly revenue and ensure that the team is reaching daily sales goals.
  • Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction, handle client inquiries, address customer dissatisfaction, resolve service complaints, and address adverse reactions with the assistance of the Medical Director.
  • Ensure that the required safety procedures are being followed as defined by the Medical Director
  • Perform all sales consultations while promoting and recommending additional packages and/or treatment areas and educating clients on Laser Hair Removal.
  • Manage conflict and coach team by applying Semper Laser’s recommended processes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Receive feedback and promote discussions around solutions.
  • Exhibit a positive, friendly, upbeat, and personable demeanor with strong communication skills.
  • Provide team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognizing individual contributions.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management.
  • Plan, direct, and assist to meet the daily needs of the operation, such as answering telephones, scheduling client appointments, assisting clients in cash refunds, and assisting clients with questions and/or concerns about treatments and payments.
  • Handle administrative tasks including but not limited to scheduling, office supplies inventory, and reporting.
  • Participate in company on-site events to market our services to the community.
  • Hire, train, supervise, develop, mentor all team members according to Semper Laser’s policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the utmost cleanliness and soothing ambiance of the premises.
  • Work side-by-side with the Client Service Manager and Director of Sales to take smart risks and identify value adds for our guests.
  • Work closely with the Sales & Operations, Client Service, and Marketing teams.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at the Director of Sales’ discretion.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Retail Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Experience may be substituted for education.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in customer-facing, sales management roles, particularly within the industry.
  • Proven experience and success in sales and team leadership are required.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and reach new client quotas and sales goals.
  • Present interest in the aesthetics industry, especially Laser Hair Removal.
  • Working knowledge of scheduling software, client databases, and CRM tools.
  • Must have a high level of enthusiasm, confidence, motivation, and drive to succeed.
  • Ability to identify and act upon new areas for growth and increase sales.
  • Ability to thrive and stay calm, polite, and professional in a high-pressured environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

This position has 3-4 direct reports.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Travel:

This position does not require travel; however, if there is any travel, travel would be primarily local during business hours.

Pay: $55k-65k/ year with quarterly bonuses based on performance.
